Refund Policy for Domains
Domain registrations are non-refundable. However, if you register a free domain with any of our hosting plans, and decide to cancel the hosting plan, a partial refund will be issued. The cost of the domain will be deducted from this refund. We strive to deliver domains promptly, but in the rare case we are unable to provide a domain within 24 hours, we will issue a full refund for the domain purchase.
Please note that all listed domain prices are for standard domains, not premium domains. As we are currently in our beta stage, we do not have a tool to check for premium domains. If the domain you selected is identified as a premium domain, we will promptly inform you and offer a refund or account credit, based on your preference.
Domains that host phishing or abusive content will be suspended by the registrar. DotShift is not responsible for such suspensions. As per our terms, domains are non-refundable if suspended for these reasons.
Refund Policy for Hosting Services
DotShift is committed to providing excellent customer service. If you experience an issue with our hosting services, we guarantee resolution within 72 hours on working days (Monday to Friday). If we fail to resolve your issue within this period, we will issue a refund.
We offer a money-back guarantee for our hosting services, ranging from 7 to 90 days, depending on the plan and billing cycle. The specific refund duration for each plan is transparently provided at the time of purchase.
To qualify for a refund under our money-back guarantee, the following conditions must be met:
- You must be a new customer with DotShift (not an existing or past customer).
- Your service must not have been abused or misused (please refer to our policies on Account Security, CPU, Bandwidth, and Disk Usage).
- You should not have initiated a dispute or chargeback with your payment provider.
- The refund applies to the base price of the billing cycle as stated for each plan.
- Any gateway or transaction fees incurred are non-refundable.
- If your plan was purchased for a period ranging from 3 months to 3 years, the portion of the payment for the used period will be deducted from the refund.
- If you claimed a free domain with your hosting plan, the cost of the domain will be deducted from your refund amount.
Violating any of the above conditions will void your eligibility for a refund.
Refund Policy for VPS & Dedicated Servers
Please note that we do not provide refunds for VPS (Virtual Private Servers) or Dedicated Server purchases. Proceed with your purchase carefully, as these services are non-refundable. Server licenses are also non-refundable.
Service Cancellation and Refunds
If DotShift cancels a service, a refund will be issued according to our internal policies, as long as no terms of service are violated. If you breach our terms and conditions, such as engaging in abuse, we reserve the right to withhold any refund.
Refunds for Payments Made via Cryptocurrency
DotShift allows users to purchase digital services using cryptocurrency. However, please be aware that cryptocurrency transactions are typically non-refundable due to the nature of blockchain technology and the difficulty in reversing such transactions.
